Lundbeck taps EVERSANA’s AI Agency for commercialisation
A year after officially launching its AI agency offering, EVERSANA is expanding the platform’s capabilities and announcing a major pharma client: Copehagen-based brain health specialist Lundbeck, which has US headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois.
EVERSANA worked with Google to develop the agentic suite, which last week added medical affairs, market research, and field sales team engagement to its core marketing agency functions.
Now, it will support Lundbeck’s “Focused Innovator” strategy, scaling AI-enabled commercialisation capabilities across marketing, medical communications, market access, and media operations, with additional use cases being explored. This builds on work the two companies have already done together in strategic planning, content development, and commercial execution.
"At Lundbeck, building bionic capabilities is an important part of how we are advancing our Focused Innovator strategy," Tom Gibbs, EVP and president of Lundbeck US said in a statement. "Our ambition is to bring human expertise and artificial intelligence together to strengthen how we think, decide, and execute across our business.”
EVERSANA CIO Faruk Capan stressed that this partnership goes beyond a simple plug and play AI offering.
“What makes this partnership unique is that we're not simply introducing AI tools into existing workflows," he said. "Together, we're implementing an AI-powered operating model designed specifically for life sciences. By combining agentic AI, embedded compliance, and human expertise, we can help commercial teams accelerate execution while maintaining the quality and scientific rigour the industry demands."
EVERSANA executives and Google Cloud partners touted the end-to-end nature of EVERSANA’s AI Agency at an event at Google’s NYC campus last year. At the time, they shared that the system was already in use in parts with some unnamed pharma clients, and the full end-to-end platform was ready to roll out.
Now, it appears Lundbeck will be the first to demonstrate what that looks like in action. More details will likely be shared at a similar event this week -- where pharmaphorum will be in attendance.
"The future of commercialisation will belong to organisations that successfully combine human expertise with AI-driven execution," Mark Thierer, CEO at EVERSANA, said in a statement. "Lundbeck is advancing innovation and actively implementing new ways of working. Together, we are creating a model that pairs the power of artificial intelligence with deep life sciences expertise to help commercial teams move faster, operate more efficiently, and deliver greater impact."
