Estima co-founders Tim Reason and Andy Gimblett are joining EVERSANA.

EVERSANA has acquired UK-based health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) company Estima Scientific, which develops AI and data science tools designed to speed up patient access to medicines.

The London-based company uses large language models and proprietary software to streamline and speed up HEOR and health technology assessment (HTA) workflows, streamlining traditionally time-consuming and labour-intensive tasks, such as literature reviews, data extraction, and economic modelling.

As Estima's co-founder Tim Reason puts it, the company's platform helps companies "generate evidence, assess value, and prepare market access submissions much earlier, making launches in markets that previously wouldn’t have stacked up commercially much more realistic."

In a statement, EVERSANA – which is pharmaphorum's parent company – said Estima will integrate its expertise and software into its market access and value & evidence solutions "to help pharmaceutical companies demonstrate a drug’s clinical and economic value more efficiently and transparently to payers."

It added that the UK company has built a strong base of global clients that rely on its proprietary AI-powered technology to support research studies for leading global pharma brands.

Financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed. It continues a period of international expansion for EVERSANA, coming after last year's merger with Waltz Health and its earlier takeovers of Healthware Group, INTOUCH, and Protean, and consolidates the group's efforts to build AI-powered, integrated offerings across the entire commercial value chain.

It builds on EVERSANA’s AI Agency platform, which was launched in 2025 and expanded earlier this year. Reason and fellow Estima co-founder Andy Gimblett will join the company's global team.

"Today more than ever, the pharmaceutical industry must embrace AI to transform commercialisation," said Mark Thierer, EVERSANA's chief executive.

"As we scale to serve global clients, adding best-in-class companies that embrace a technology first mindset is critical to our success," he added. "The Estima Scientific team checks every box and will seamlessly fit into our organisation."
