Tarak Shah

Tarak Shah is a commercial leader with roots in science, and a passion for driving impactful business and customer outcomes through strategy, data, technology, and culture.
Tarak is currently Sr. Director, Digital Strategy and Activation Lead at Bayer. In this role, he is responsible for HCP and consumer digital engagement as a member of the Digital Strategy & Product Operations team in Bayer’s pharmaceutical division.
Prior to Bayer, Tarak worked at Ferring Pharmaceuticals where he led the US team’s strategy and transformation into Omnichannel, helping multiple brands evolve their customer engagement strategies into more holistic, customer- centric and insight-driven approaches.
Tarak has over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering with a double major in Economics from Northwestern University, a Master of Biotechnology degree from The University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Rutgers Business School. Tarak also earned a certification in AI Business Strategy and Executive Leadership from UC Berkeley.

That same philosophy now guides her work across the pharmaceutical industry, where she has held executive roles at Astellas, Axsome, BeiGene, and currently Pacira, leading cross-functional teams in Commercial IT, Analytics, and Omnichannel Customer Engagement.
With 15+ years of experience driving omnichannel strategy and digital transformation, Stacy has consistently delivered multi-million-dollar improvements in both large-scale global organizations and high-growth biotech start-ups. She brings strong business acumen, agile leadership, and an uncommon ability to translate complexity into action. Her focus is always on aligning enterprise efforts around customer needs—ensuring that marketing, tech, analytics, and operations teams move together toward measurable outcomes.

He's a graduate of the Columbia University School of journalism and in 2021 he was part of the inaugural class of the CUNY Executive Program in News Innovation and Leadership.
