The Economist Impact’s 9th Annual World Cancer Series: Europe is taking place in Brussels on 20th and 21st September.

The two-day summit features over 90 speakers and welcomes an audience representing policymakers, healthcare providers, industry leaders, academics, patient groups, and investors.

Needless to say, pharmaphorum will be attendance, live blogging from event, which this year focuses on the core topics of: Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan; prevention, screening, early diagnosis; radiation therapies; women’s cancer; and lung cancer.

The 2023 agenda will build on last year’s themes of innovation, equity, and excellence, which lie at the heart of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan. Yet, as the plan is implemented, it’s time to take stock and ask how the reality of cancer care in the region aligns with targets. The summit will identify successes and, also, what still needs attention.

Be sure to check back here on both days for updates live from the event.
