Key Pharmaceuticals Ltd to lead a workshop on Parallel Trade & Brexit
SMi Group are delighted to have industry expert Tushar Patel to lead a pre-conference workshop during Parallel Trade 2019, who will discuss Parallel Trade and Brexit.
The 13th Annual Parallel Trade conference, taking place in London on the 5th – 6th February 2019, will hold a particular place of significance due to Brexit and the UK officially leaving the EU on the 29th of March 2019. As such, the UK will no longer be part of the EU free market; hence, having a significant impact on parallel trade.
For this reason, it is highly beneficial for interested parties of this year’s event to attend the half day pre-conference workshop on the 4th February. SMi is delighted to host this workshop led by Tushar Patel, Principal Consultant from Key Pharmaceuticals, giving a workshop on ‘Parallel Trade and Brexit, what to expect?’
The workshop given by Tushar Patel will cover key topics, such as:
Session one will go in-depth on the background of Parallel Trade including, Formation EU and birth of PT, EU treaties and rules of PT, Industry models for parallel trade and products of concern, Trading models adopted by Pharma companies, The Grey market, and the consequences and outcomes of PT.
Session two will be about the regulatory landscape – current and for Brexit including the pros and cons of Brexit on PT, Impact of pharma companies and products and both sides, and the Regulatory requirements of PT.
