Women in Marketing Awards adds healthcare categories
The Women in Marketing network has added new healthcare categories to its annual awards, which take place in London and celebrate the achievements of women from around the globe in marketing, advertising and communications.
Now in its ninth outing, the awards will this year include Best Marketing Leader in Creating Change in Health & Wellness and the Health & Wellness Public Campaign categories.
Ade Onilude, founder and CEO of Women in Marketing, said: “This year’s ceremony is set to be an amazing evening celebrating the achievements of the stars of the marketing world. I look forward to meeting fellow colleagues, female and male, from the world of marketing and business for what will be an exclusive fun-filled evening.”
Onilude established WIM in 2004, adding the awards in 2010, to recognise and celebrate women in marketing and the network has since tackled topics such as ethical marketing and diversity in the sector to inspire women in marketing as well as the wider business community.
The 2019 Global Women in Marketing (WiM) Awards are open for entry until 2 October and will be held on 13 November.
Past WiM Award winners have included senior executives from HP, Burberry, Google, Facebook, Hearst UK, Havas, Diageo and Ogilvy & Mather and the 2019 awards will be hosted by Tamara Gillan, CEO of Cherry London.
This year’s judging panel also includes Asha Ranchhod Patel – head of marketing at Google South Africa, Gini Sharvill – global brand manager at Haagen Dazs, digital marketing consultant Faisal Ahmed and Doug Zanger, senior editor at Adweek.
