Golin makes Ondine Whittington group managing director

Ondine Whittington has been promoted to group managing director for Golin and Virgo Health London.

Previously managing director for Virgo Health, Whittington will report to Golin CEO Matt Neale in her new role at the Interpublic agencies.

Neale said: “Ondine brings unparalleled agency leadership to Golin London. We went out to the market to find the right hire for this critical role, but soon realised that the perfect candidate was already in our family.

Most importantly, she knows how to build and motivate high-performing teams balanced with a truly inclusive and supportive working culture.”

As managing director of Virgo Health, Ondine led the 50-strong healthcare communications agency Golin acquired in 2014, navigating it from a founder-led business into a network agency and relocating to a Central London office space it shares with Golin.

Whittington said: “Whilst both the Virgo and Golin brands will remain distinct entities, the new group MD role will allow me to unlock the collective strength of our exciting proposition and brilliant people; creating efficiencies and value for clients.”
