UK comms agency Fishawack Health has acquired the health economics outcomes research (HEOR) consultancy PRMA Consulting.

PRMA has offices across Europe, Asia and the US and adds expertise in Asia-Pacific and European markets to the company’s market access offering in North America.

The company said that the acquisition will allow it to offer a HEOR consultancy service that spans the globe.

The PRMA Consulting team is led by partner Jayne Sykes, founding partner, David Sykes, and partner Sotiria Papanicolaou (pictured left to right).

Fishawack has three core operating unites – medical communications, consulting and commercial – and is driven by a staff of 950 people with strategic, creative and scientific expertise.

Fishawack Health Head of Consulting, Fred Bassett, said: “Our goal at Fishawack Health is to give clients access to highly-experienced experts who provide strategic direction, helping to make decisions that matter across the development and commercialisation of portfolios, products, and services.

“The PRMA Consulting team shares our passion for solving the most complex and challenging healthcare problems in fast-evolving markets. We’re delighted to add a team of market access and health economics strategists with deep specialism in HEOR, healthcare technology assessments, pricing, and reimbursement processes.”

Fishawack’s teams collaborate across operations in the UK (Brighton, London, Manchester, and Oxford) and USA (Evansville, Minneapolis New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, Scottsdale and St. Louis).

The acquisition of PRMA follows Fishawack’s buyout of The Hive Health Group in January.
