Aptar continues to look for valuable partnerships to develop and expand its portfolio, and Sai relays the importance of synergies between digital health applications and Aptar’s heritage when considering such collaborations.
He provides advice for digital health companies looking to partner and details Aptar’s strategy when evaluating potential partners to ensure a positive patient journey.
The pair touch on the regulatory changes over the last 18 months, and Sai gives his take on the future of regulations in different countries and whether the current momentum in the market will be maintained.
Sai notes a positive dynamic developing within digital health, especially when it comes to personalisation, but says challenges exist in data gathering and ensuring proper data usage.

He joined Aptar in April 2017, having spent 15 years in big pharma – Allergan (CMC team leader, Head of R&D Packaging development, Product Development) and Sanofi (Packaging Engineering, Industrial Affairs).
