Page & Page appoints Clare Bates as editorial director
UK creative and communications agency Page & Page has appointed Clare Bates as editorial director.
She brings to the Tunbridge Wells-based firm 17 years’ experience of working within medical education and healthcare publishing to develop content for the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries.
Before joining Page & Page, Bates worked in rare diseases as project director at Synergy Medical Communications and before that was publisher at Wounds UK and Wounds International, heading up their medical education division.
Prior to those roles she spent 14 years at PMGroup as editor and then editorial director, leading its pharma industry magazine titles Pharmaceutical Marketing Europe and Pharmaceutical Marketing.
Meanwhile, Page & Page is among those shortlisted for a prize at the forthcoming PM Society Awards, where the agency is in contention within the Craft and Target Audience categories for its work for Fresenius Kabi. This saw it develop a campaign to ensure that the challenge of hydration is properly understood and addressed within the NHS, and among community stakeholders.
