Lucid Group expands its presence in north west England

Medical communications group Lucid has expanded its operations in the north west of England, with a move to larger offices in Macclesfield.

The Buckinghamshire-headquartered agency opened the doors of its first office in Macclesfield less than a year ago, but subsequently launched a recruitment drive in the region as part of its 2018 growth plans.

HR director Angela Young said: “Even after eleven years, Lucid continues to enjoy exponential growth year on year. Our commitment to providing our clients with the best talent, and our employees with the best work-life balance, has made our expansion in the north west an obvious move.

“We want to put the spotlight on medical communications in the region as a viable and attractive proposition to those with a curiosity for science and passion for making a difference to patients’ lives.”

In just over a decade the company has expanded from a two-person med comms start-up, to a 150-strong, award-winning global agency.

In 2017 Lucid picked up a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade and this year was crowned Communiqué Medical Education Consultancy of the Year and Communiqué Consultancy of the Year.
