Lucid Group acquires HealthCare21 and expands its global footprint

Lucid Group has acquired medical communications agency HealthCare21 in a move that expands its global footprint with the addition of offices in Singapore and Dubai.

The Macclesfield, UK-based firm was set up over 23 years ago and, as well as bases in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, it also brings scientific strategy, content creation, editorial excellence and digital design capabilities to Lucid.

HealthCare21 joins a Lucid roster that comprises Leading Edge, Lighthouse, Lucid Partners and ViVid, and was bolstered earlier this year through the acquisition of creative and digital consultancy Bluedog.

It also hands Lucid an immediate larger footprint in the North West of the UK, which already increased in sizelast year and where the group aims to build rapidly, taking advantage of the region’s healthcare communications talent base.
