Syneos adds to European team with key hires
Syneos Health Communications has made several senior hires to strengthen its Europe-based team.
A portfolio of Syneos Health agencies, Syneos Health Communications, offers expertise spanning advertising and branding, public relations and medical communications.
Among the most notable hires is Orrin Pollard, who joins as director of European creative expression.
Pollard has more than 10 years’ experience in the field and made his name as founder and creative director of DDB Remedy UK.
Syneos noted he has created and inspired several multi-award winning national OTC and global ethical campaigns across Europe, and served on many international awards panels as a judge.
Mark Sudwell joins as head of value for access and reputation communications, bringing more than 20 years’ experience as a corporate affairs communications leader, notably as communications director for Eli Lilly’s Australia and Canada operations.
Tanya von Ahlefeldt, has joined as European senior director of public relations having most recently set up the diversity, equity and inclusion internal and external communications offering for a major medical education agency.
Jenny Fanstone, scientific director, brings over 20 years of experience in medical writing, strategic communication, publication planning and medical editing.
She began her career in postgraduate research at the University of Oxford and has since worked for highly reputable scientific establishments, working at the forefront of scientific communications across a range of therapy areas including oncology, neurology, endocrinology and renal disease.
Christopher Hubert, senior art director, joins the team to help drive creative strategy and art direction for clients across brand launches and tactics in both digital and print media. With 20 years of advertising experience, Hubert has run campaigns for blue chip companies including EY (Ernst & Young), HSBC, Audi and Eurostar.
Sandy Lee, senior account director and social media lead, joins bringing expertise in content marketing, business development, social media and digital strategic counsel. In her previous role she led global campaigns for WHO, The Global Fund, IFPMA, and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
