PM Society calls in specialists to tackle healthcare marketing challenges

Healthcare marketing is an increasingly complex area, and it’s an area that comes with many challenges and opportunities. The PM Society has announced it is partnering with communication and digital specialists, Loop &amp, Layer, to extend its reach and tackle these challenges face on.

Carys Thomas Ampofo has also been appointed as an Independent Consultant. Carys, together with Loop &amp, Layer, is tasked with developing and implementing a multi-channel strategy for PM Society, which will aim to engage further with current members and extend the depth and breadth of the Society’s reach.

“This is a critical time for the pharmaceutical industry as it comes to terms with new models of working where it must shift from being an arms-length supplier to a partner in the delivery of healthcare.

“Our aim in their appointment is to increase awareness of the issues facing pharmaceutical marketers and their colleagues and the wealth of resources that the PM Society has to meet their needs.”

At the beginning of 2012, the PM Society unveiled new branding and special interest groups for key healthcare challenge areas, including market access, digital and patient engagement.
