Havas Health & You recruits Denise Henry to senior leadership team

Havas Health & You has appointed Denise Henry as group president as part of moves to bolster its senior leadership team.

She joins the New York-headquartered agency from CDM, where she was chief strategy officer and also served as director of CDM’s HealthWork joint venture with BBDO.

Henry said: "Havas Health & You is the unmistakable category leader as we look towards the future of health and wellness. Recent events have reminded us all deeply why these industries are as crucial as they are, and I am excited to join the team at Havas Health & You to help shape what the future of these categories looks like."

In new role she will report directly to Havas Health & You’s global CEO Donna Murphy and initially focus on overseeing Havas Life Metro NYC and Chicago.

The agency has also promoted Suketu Patel to global chief medical officer, a move that speaks to its desire to elevate the role of medical across its healthcare communications companies, which include the Havas Creative Group networks of Havas Life, Health4Brands (H4B), Lynx, Havas Life PR and Havas Health Plus.

Patel has more than 15 years of experience as a global medical director and has been part of the agency evolution of Havas Health & You’s Havas Life Metro agency.
