Fernandez and Loveya take senior roles at FCB Health

Consumer advertising guru Humberto Fernandez has joined FCB Health as group creative director, with Anna Loveya joining the company’s market access healthcare agency Mosaic Group as management director.

Fernandez comes to FCB Health New York following 25 years in consumer advertising, during which he’s delivered creative solutions to several blockbuster brands, including Coca-Cola, Bayer, Kit Kat, Budweiser and Mitsubishi Motors.

Before joining FCB Health Network’s flagship agency, Fernandez served as executive creative director at Sao Paulo-based Agencia Africa.

Previously, he held the same title at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide, followed by his work at the start-up Heads Propaganda, where he was executive creative director and Head of Art.

Respected throughout the industry, Fernandez was named the No. 1 art director in Lürzer’s Archive’s 2013 rankings and has won numerous major industry awards, including 23 Cannes Lions, 15 Clios, five Effies, five One Show Pencils and four D&AD awards.

He was also one of the 20 most awarded executive creative directors in the world in 2016.

Fernandez will be reporting to to FCB Health New York chief creative officer Kathleen Nanda.

Loveya will report to FCB Health Network director of client solutions Ross Quinn and oversee account management across all clients and brands, bringing over 20 years of extensive market-access marketing, strategic consulting, product launch and healthcare communications experience to the agency.

She started her career in the pharmaceutical industry as a payer marketer for Becton Dickinson, and later worked for several market-access/healthcare agencies, including Ogilvy, Lowe Healthcare and McCann Torre Lazur.

Before joining Mosaic Group, she was VP of account management at ICON/MediMedia Managed Markets, leading the team on launches and market-access initiatives for multiple clients.

Loyeva holds an MBA from Rutgers University and an MPH from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

The agency also hired Jill Lesiak as executive creative director earlier this year.
