Bayer under investigation in China over drug prices

News

Bayer has become the latest pharma company to come under investigation in China in a probe of drug firms over high prices.

The company announced today that it had been visited by Chinese authorities in late August to investigate a potential case of unfair competition.

In an email statement to Reuters, Bayer said, "we are taking the investigation seriously and are fully cooperating with the authority".
