90TEN appoints Abigail Last as an associate director

90TEN Communications has appointed Abigail Last (pictured above right) as an associate director and Jaya Shumoogam (above left) as a senior medical writer.

Last joins the London-based healthcare comms agency from MSL, where she spent 18 months as an associate director, prior to which she served at Porter Novelli London and before that Red Door Unlimited.

Shumoogam moved to the agency from Ketchum’s Inspired Science, having previously been a managing editor at Thomson Reuters. She now takes up a role as a senior medical writer within the agency’s medical education company 90TEN Medical.

Meanwhile, the company last month won Specialist Consultancy of the Year at the PRWeek UK Awards, where its account director Amy O’Connor also picked up the Young PR Professional of the Year prize.
