BIO - Day 1

Tuesday is the first full day at BIO and it kicks off with Katie Couric, who will be interviewed by BIO CEO Rachel King in her role as a cancer advocate. After that, we’ll be hopping around to a few of the sessions that most caught our eye, including fireside chats with Biogen CEO Christopher Viehbacher and Sanofi CSO Frank Nestle, and an FDA town hall that promises to be full of nerdy, wonky insights about the US regulator. The day will wrap up with a session on patent thickets, or the non-existence thereof, that looks to be appropriately controversial. Check out Tuesday’s live blog below.
