Episode one of Kantar’s Health Heroes podcast looks at caregiving challenges for Gaucher disease and how patient registries can help deliver new treatment innovations and better outcomes for patients with a rare disease.

It features Michael Fronstin, Kantar’s Global Head of Innovation for Real World Evidence, and Taryn Earley, the grandmother of a child suffering with Type 3 Gaucher disease, and is presented by pharmaphorum’s Dominic Tyer.

The new monthly pharmaceutical podcast series is produced by Kantar, in association with pharmaphorum, and focuses on patients, their health journey and unmet needs, and how the life sciences industry can contribute to improving health outcomes.

With more than 6,000 rare diseases identified, Kantar’s debut episode coincides with Rare Disease Day 2020, and centres on the impact of Gaucher disease on patients and caregivers and new innovations for improved patient outcomes could be delivered.
