The last time we checked in on Ratio Therapeutics co-founders Dr Jack Hoppin and Dr John Babich, they were working out of a WeWork co-working space in downtown Boston, just beginning their work with targeted radiotherapeutics and mathematical modelling.

They’ve come a long way since then, raising an additional $20 million in funding, announcing a licensing agreement with Merck, and moving into a brand-new office in Boston’s Seaport district.

So it was that editor-in-chief Jonah Comstock dropped by to get an update on the company - and a glimpse into what life is like at a burgeoning biotech in Boston’s buzzing ecosystem.

They discuss some of the company’s recent wins and developments, how to stay above the fray during an action-packed era for oncology, some of the features of the new space, and how the company is staying focused on the patients and the meaning of the work. They also talk a bit about their fundraising and development strategies.

Check out the video below for the whole conversation.
