Sales manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join pharmaphorum, part of the Healthware Group as a sales manager.
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in driving revenues in a digital healthcare publishing environment, with the ability to put together commercial deals, develop and execute commercial strategies, foster and build relationships with new and existing clients and lead other sales personnel.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategy to achieve revenue target in line with company aims.
- Create strong and trusted client relationships with new and existing clients, communicating in-person and virtually
- Manage the full sales process from initial inquiries and quotes through to completing sales
- Use company systems to monitor and report on personal and sales (team) activity.
- Manage and develop sales team.
- Develop existing and create new products in line with commercial strategy.
- Keep pace with digital publishing/marketing developments relevant to product base.
- Represent pharmaphorum at relevant industry events, building new client relationships onsite and providing product knowledge to attendees
- Create and disseminate sales support materials.
Key Skills
- Educated to degree level (2.2 or higher)
- Minimum 5 years B2B work experience in a sales based role
- Minimum 3 years working within pharmaceutical industry or healthcare environment, ideally from a communication agency or healthcare publishers, with experience of digital / web based content
- Proven track record of achieving KPI’s and targets
- Working knowledge of digital publishing concepts
- Solid attention to detail and organisation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to create solid relationships with senior clientele
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- The ability to motivate and lead a team
