Veeva Systems unveiled its latest cloud-based solution for the life sciences industry yesterday in a European Launch Event within the prestigious surroundings of the Stoke Park Hotel in the UK. Veeva Vault was presented as the first regulated cloud-based content management suite of applications designed specifically for the challenges of the highly regulated life sciences industry.
Recognising that large life science companies often work across more than 50 different repositories for content across the organisation, Vault was developed to simplify the production and sharing of regulated materials, both internally and with external partners. Designed specifically with compliance issues in mind, Vault is applicable to a range of activities including collaboration over clinical trial materials, drug submissions, medical communications, manufacturing and quality control documentation and preparation and dissemination of sales and marketing materials.
“Veeva Vault replaces all the antiquated, costly, and painful content management platforms in place today across the industry with a single, cloud-based solution. Built from the ground up to support the complex and stringent regulatory compliance requirements, it uniquely combines usability with the rigour of a validated environment.”
Rik van Mol, VP, Vault Services, Veeva Europe
Veeva reported that over 20 life sciences organisations are already using Vault, which is designed to be adaptable to specific client requirements, and will be supported by a program of regular upgrades and new features based on customer feedback.
